Yes, I know I've been on about this for some time now, but stick with me, I promise I'll stop soon!
 I realised I never posted the good quality scans I had of the Jared pictures. These are going up on my website [www.beckie_bray.webs.com] which I will be updating and revamping soon, because I am now taking commissions for Christmas! Last year i had about 6 people ask me mid-December if I could do them a portrait in time for Christmas, and shockingly, I couldn't, so I'm giving plenty of warning this year and have spent a good hour or so this morning putting leaflets up!

And now I need to go wrestle a loaf of bread off my dog. I've just seen him run past my door dragging it along. Where the hell he got the bread from, I do not know, but I'm pretty sure my mother will not be pleased if he leaves half chewed slices of bread everywhere!

Okay, public post concerning art! Will not be of interest to anyone who has not donated to the Jared Photobook project [and will be of even less interest to people who don’t know what the Jared Photobook project is!].

Recently I found out about the project, and thought it was a great idea. Fans have been so generous donating and the total has reached a hell of a lot.
Anyway, I thought it might be nice to donate a graphite or colour pencil portrait to one randomly chosen fan [who has donated to the cause.], so this is what this post is all about!

I really don't have anything else to post about! it's my mum's birthday tomorrow, and tonight I am ordering Pizza hut. Oh and the highlight of my week will be tomorrow watching the Supernatural season 3 finale and then the Osmonds tour on DVD. How rock and roll am I?!

Criminal Minds...Obsessive moment!

I've always wanted to do a graphic novel of sorts, and I found the perfect way to practice...Oh, and you probably won't get this, unless you watch Criminal Minds...but you can still look, there's drawings under there! ;p

A 10 or 15 minute effort in charcoal.
I was tidying my room, then I found some charcoal on the floor, so instead of carrying on tidying, I sat down and drew this. Yes, I'm productive.
I actually might make this a little project of mine. I might do the same picture in watercolour, graphite, colour pencils, and I may even have a go at ink too. For no real reason than just to see how I change styles in each medium. I should probably redo this because it's not that great, i could have put more effort into it, and I should not have done it on printer paper because it went smudgy [esp near mouth and neck]

But in reality I probably will abandon this project and just watch TV instead.

One last thing, is anyone else having trouble with LJ? A lot of pages won't load for me.

I don't know why I get about 9/10 of the way to finishing something, then just never do it. i suck.
Another thing that sucks is the fact I lost my scanner USB cable so had to take crappy quality photo of the painting. It looks much better in real life. It would also look better if I finished it...maybe one day I will.

3/4 finished Michael Weatherly [DiNozzo from NCIS.] Done in charcoal pencil.
I still need to finish the hair, bits of shading on face, [mouth especially] and the shirt. Apart from that I'm quite pleased with it.

So i haven't done much today. I didn't get up until this afternoon, and am still not dressed, nor am I planning to get dressed!

I'm having to rest my leg again today. I think I may have overdone it a bit because it's aching, and now my other leg is aching too, probably because it's had to take most of the weight this past week.
